The Prime Minister has expressed serious concern over the persistent lack of punctuality across various Ministries, Divisions, attached departments, and autonomous organizations of the Federal Government.
In a directive issued on Tuesday by the Cabinet Division, government officials have been reminded of the importance of strictly observing official office hours.

The Prime Minister has instructed that all officers and staff must adhere to designated office timings. The directive emphasizes that Federal Secretaries, as well as heads of attached departments and autonomous bodies, must lead by example and ensure punctuality within their respective organizations.
The move aims to enhance efficiency, improve service delivery, and instill a culture of discipline across government institutions.
The Cabinet Secretary, in the letter, reiterated the importance of the Prime Minister’s directive and urged all departments to comply without exception.
